Beyblade

"Looking for Insider Cheat Codes Of Beyblade? "

1) STARTING YOUR GAME

Up on the Main Screen, you get a choice of either New Game or Continue.

If you already have a saved game, load it up.

Otherwise, Start a New Game. Kenny starts asking you some questions.

The first's your gender, of which some rather nice anime pictures are provided.

After you choose, then you get asked for your name, and then confirmation.

Beyblade Lastly, he then gives you a choice of having either Kid Dragoon/Dragoon S orKnight Dranzer/Dranzer S.

After that, you get directed to your various optionsthroughout the game.

2) OPTIONS

More Beyblade Tips:

Beyblade Tournaments - You can fight in the tournament.

Free Battle - This is Free Battle. Its perfect for competing with your friends.

Customize - You can customize your Beyblade. You also can buy parts here.

MEMORY CARD - You can save and load data for Player 1 and 2 using memory card slot one only.

Options - Options. You can switch sound options, between stereo and mono.

3) TOURNAMENTS

The tournament involves 7 matches of beyblading action, the first threeof which are against Blader A, B and C, randomly shuffled up.

This isabout as much RPG action that you will get out of this game.

Match 1 - Random Blader A, B or C.

Match 2 - One of the two bladers you didn't fight in Match 1.

Match 3 - The last of the A/B/C bladers you still haven't fought.

Match 4 -You finally get to fight against one of the anime character (Max, Rei, Lee, Tala or Robert)

Quarterfinals - One of the above five characters you didn't fight.

Semi-Finals - Lee, Tala or Robert, if you haven't fought them yet.

Finals - Tyson or Kai.

After each battle that you win, Kenny asks if you would like him to repair your beyblade.

My recommendation is dont ever do this unless your beybladegets under 50 HP, because it will lose statistics in certain areas, whichcan end up damaging it even more.

If you lose, I advise you to look at myTips section, and practice against the person you lost against in FreeBattle(If it was Match 4 or higher)

Also, from what I've seen, this is how wins are judged. In order to havea win, you need four points. How to get these points?

Miss Stadium: One point

Knock-Out: Two points

Stop Spinning: Three point

Bust Blade: Two points, and instant win if the opponent doesn't have a second blade.

Blader A - He has an annoying complexion of hitting hard every once in a while,so move around and try to hit him first, and if you are hit, summon yourbit-beast to stay in the arena.

After the first few times through thetournament, he'll be somewhat easier though.

Blader B - Although not as much as Tyson, Blader B usually goes fast, and so ifyou keep to yourself, very much more likely than not, he'll fly out of thearena.

Blader C - Following somewhat the same annoyance as Blader A, his defense is abit more hard, but I recommend that you go on Attack, as his control isslightly worse.

Max - Max is a tough cookie, using strong defense. My strongest recommendationis to use an endurance Beyblade, and try to stay near the center to stopyourself from being hit by a possible attack.

As always, if you are close tobeing knocked out of the arena, you can summon your bit-beast to be back in themiddle.

Rei - He's quick, and that is his weakness. Through the awkward physics systemof this game, he'll move around and throw himself out of the arena more timesthan you hit him out.

Lee- His Beyblade switches between defense mode and attack mode every time itis hit, so go forth with a strong attacking Beyblade, and hit him quickly.

Michael - DID Crave even bother to create a very intelligent AI here? Using anattack type Beyblade, Michael rarely summons his bit-beast, and rarely dodgesone! Use a defense Beyblade to stop him cold.

Tala - Using a Beyblade meant for defense and endurance, and doing a darn welljob at that, he also dodges your Bit-Beast a lot. Go in with full speed, anduse your own defensive Beyblade against him.

Robert - Annoyingly dodging a lot, he still can't stop an attacking Beyblade, soadvance with a strong attacker.

Tyson - Following the same strategy as Rei, with a slightly more powerfulbit-beast, he goes at top speed almost all the time, and his attack doesn'treally throw you off, so again, dodge and let him throw himself out.

Kai - With his beyblade usually in attack mode, pit a strong defense againsthim. Go at him quickly, with high speed, and keep to the center of the arena.

4) FREE BATTLE

Here, you get the opportunity to play against all your favorite players fromthe Beyblade TV Show! You can also play as them! And no, there arent anyhidden characters, sorry.

The characters you can play as or against are Tyson, Max, Rei, Kai, Lee,Michael, Robert and Tala! No Dark Bladers to all you DB fans! And also noBlader A,B or C.

Note that you can still play as yourself, and even if you dont play asyourself, you still get the same Beypoint rewards as always. Rules play thesame as tournament, and remember, you still get Beypoints.

Strategies for the various characters have been listed in the Tournamentsection.

* How to play with unique character for each player *

When you start the game you have to continue the game and load the game from thememory card of the person who wants to be Player 1.

You then switch memory cardsto the one that contains the information for Player 2.

You go back to MemoryCard option and load the contents of this card, it will ask you if you want toload it as Player 1 or Player 2.

Choose to load it as Player 2. You now havethe data from both memory cards stored in the Playstation and you can go to FreeBattle.

When in Free Battle, Player 1 can pick his custom character, and Player 2 canpick their custom character. You will both get Bey points for playing FreeBattle.

When you are done Free Battling, you can customize both Players as well, Player2 gains control of the screen for customization of his Bey Blade, and Player 1has control for the customization of his own Bey Blade.

To save the progress and customization, go back to Memory Card Option and itwill ask you which player wants to save.

Choose the Player and insert theappropriate memory card for that player. Repeat for the next Player.

5) HISTORY

Beyblade is a reconstruct of some German(?) tops, which you tied a string aroundyour finger to launch. Takara Toy then redesigned the toy as to launch it with arip cord and launcher.

In Japan, they released the toy, which came to be animmediate success, and then they released the anime show after it.

It was vice-versa however in the United States and Canada though, as they had the animefirst and then the toy, probably to self-assure Takara that they would get salesin a less-toy-liking environment.

Note, if you do buy beyblades, beware of manypeople who try to counterfeit the beyblades with their own cheap duplicates, usually Chinese Companies if my memory proves right from all those cheap copiesI've browsed around where I live.

One way to try and see if the beyblade isauthenic is to check for the BBA writing on the attack ring. Other than that, you'll just have to figure out if it is fake or real.

Of course, certain thingssuch as size, and how easily it appears to be able to break could help you outwith such things.

6) BATTLE / TIPS

6.1 - Battle

Battle takes place in a semi 3-D stadium.

The stadium has unfortunately,3 wide gaps, so you have to devote a lot of yourtime and energy to keeping your Beyblade from going out of the stadium, perhapseven revolutionize how you construct your beyblades.

If you lose a battle, you get 5 Beypoints. If you win, you get 10 Beypoints.

You first launch your beyblade. You get a pixel line of which you launch yourbeyblade with the X button.

Then when you launch, with some talking from DJJazzman, you have semi-control with your beyblade.

The object is to either breakyour opponents beyblade (The designers of this game must promote sportsmanship -It is really hard to break beyblades), make them stop spinning or get them outof the stadium.

In battle, when you have 25 Bitbeast power, which is signified in a small bluebox, you can summon your bitbeast with the circle, square or triangle.

In order to win the match, it isn't best out of three. This is what you have todo to win, any one of them.

4 points are needed to win.

Out of stadium- If one of the beyblades goes out of the stadium, the winnergets 2 points.

Stops Spinning- If one of the beyblades stop spinning, you get 1 point.

Missed- If somebody misses the stadium on his launch, you get 1 point.

Blade is broken- If somebody's blade is broken, and he doesn't have an extra blade, he is therefore disqualified. Otherwise, two points.

1. Never try to launch more than 8500 spinning power, as any higher can have areally good chance of throwing you out of control, and throw your Bey blade outof the stadium.

2. If you have 25 bitbeast power, save it and when you are about to go out ofthe stadium, use it then. This brings back your Bey blade to the center of thestadium.

3. When you hit an opponent's Beyblade, press X on the moment of impact with theopponent Bey blade.

This will hereby stop you from taking any damage to yourBey blade, and sometimes increase damage to your opponents bey blade.

4. Do tournament more often rather than free battle. The first three matches canbe pretty easy, plus in the 7th round, you win 20 Beypoints if you lose and apart if you win.

5. With Dragoon, Dranzer, Kid Dragoon and Knight Dranzer, you can do a specialspin attack. Launch your bey blade when it has twenty LP , and press with squareinstead of the X.

6. Make sure you have a second bey blade handy in case your first one getsdestroyed. I don't know about you, the reader, but sometimes I get caught uptrying to destroy my opponents bey blade.

7. There is more to battling than just getting Beypoints. There is alsoincreasing your or your bit-beasts level. Note that Bit-Beast level is NOTuniversal.

In other words, if you change your bit-beast to one that you justbought, your new bit-beast will be at level one.

8. Sometimes, if you have the DX launchers, when you launch, you'll be going outof control a lot at 10000 spinning power.

The solution? Devote a lot of energyto controlling the blade with the direction buttons, or betterwise, use a Bit-Beast that centers itself for your opponent to hit, such as the Draciel Bit-Beast.

9. Higher bey blader and bit-beast level can cause more damage to your opponent.

10. If you go for an endurance bey blade, here is a move that requires precisetiming.

When your opponents bey blade is between 50 and 100, and if you haveenough LP to summon your bit-beast, do it. Your opponents bey blade is thenprompted to be destroyed.

11. If you are about to go out of the stadium, and you have at least 25 LP, useyour summon immediately. You will then be back in the middle of the stadiumafter the summon.

7) FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q1: Why is there only a tournament?

A1: Cause Crave sucks, and just rushed this game through production.

Q2: Why did you work on this FAQ?

A2: Needed to get some extra contribution credit, I thought this was a good game(not), and more importantly, the people on the Beyblade boards needed an FAQ.
