Touch Screen: On the touch screen, there are variou icons. First off, you have the three icons in the upper-left corner;

These show you how many skates, fire, and bomb icons you are holding. To the right of that, are a few other icons.

These will hold hearts, and other power ups such as thebomb kick and line bomb.

Below that you have three large icons withpictures of owerups on them, and a number showing how many of each youhave.

Tapping the icon will use one, if you have one or more; You canscroll through them by tapping the arrows on the left and right.

In thelower-right corner, the last icon you picked up will be shown, so that you can quickly use it.

The basic premise of Bomberman, is that you go through randomly generated levels, killing all of the enemies to unlock a door, then destroying soft blocks to find this door, all within a select time limit.

You'll do thisby placing bombs. However, these bombs can hurt you too, and that's whatcauses you to have to use strategy.

Bombs send flames in the four cardinaldirections (North, South, East, West) when they explode. How far they godepends on how many fire icons you have.

It's not hard to understand, butfor the sake of putting that information over completely, there are somediagrams below.

Now, along the way you'll find lots of other items; Skates which make yougo faster, remote control bombs to allow you to safely ignite bombs from a distance, and hearts, to save your skin if you screw up once.

You'll beable to collect these and stock them in your inventory, which you canscroll through on the touch screen.

When you tap them you'll use the itemand gain its special affect. Note though, that most items only last forone level, and then disappear.

As for how single player works, you'll first play five randomly generatedlevels.

Then, you'll go to a bonus round, where you attempt to blow apartsome enemies. In this round, you'll be invincible, so don't worry aboutdying.

If you can defeat them all, you'll win some items. After that, itis another 4 randomly generated stages, followed by a boss battle. Eachboss battle is unique, but this FAQ contains strategies for defeating them.

Boss: You'll be facing a floating collection of scrap metal. At first,he'll shed pieces of metal, causing spike enemies to form on the ground.Bomb them, and he'll create some more. After destroying the first four,the giant heap will land, create two more enemies, then form into a robotic flower. Destroy the last two spike enemies first, then headbehind where the large flower is. It will only be able to attack byshooting metal objects straight ahead, so systematically destroy it bybombing it from the sides, then retreating behind it.

Boss: You'll start out on the bottom screen, where there are some handenemies blocked off from you. Blast through the soft blocks to reachthem, and blow them all apart.

Then, walk to the top screen. There, agiant stone face will form, with three orbs on it; One to the left, oneon the right, and one in the center.

They will switch colors, so thatthere is always one red one at a time. When you see the red one, bombit to deal damage to the head.

Now throughout this fight, hand enemieswill be spawning, and moving around, so be careful. However, note thatthe only way the head itself can do damage, is if you run into it.

Boss: This is a simple battle; No enemies or tricks. You'll be fighting a crabon both screens.

He'll start out with a shell, and will spit bubbles, andtry to charge at you if you're in front of him.

In this form, if you place abomb in front of him -- and on a side note, bombs' firepower will decrease toone, if they are hit with a bubble -- he'll scoop it up with his claw anddisarm it.

So, sneak up on him from the back or the sides, and attack him.After a little while, you'll blow apart his shell.

When this happens he losesthe dash and claw attacks, so you'll be able to attack him from all sides.However, he'll be faster and will spit out twice as many bubbles. Keep bombinghim, and he'll die off.

Boss: You'll be facing two cacti dressed in sumbreros. And although thefight starts on both screens, the bottom one will quickly be flooded withblocks, so if you want to live, move to the top screen. More Bomberman Tips:

Now, the screenwill be chaotic if you leave them both there; With the fat one sendingmusic notes, and using his sombrero as a boomerang, whil the tall onesends his hat down like a needle at you. More Bomberman Tips:

Focus on one at a time -- It shouldonly take three or four hits -- then proceed with caution to take out theremaining one. He'll leave his hat on the ground, but don't worry about it,as it isn't dangerous.

Boss: The two screens will be seperated by a wall, and a Vampire will beon the top screen. Four ruins will then appear on the bottom screen, whereyou are. Step on one to go to the top screen, then bomb the Vampire.

He'llseperate into bats, and fly to the bottom screen. Soon, more ruins willappear. Step on one to go to the bottom screen, bomb him, and repeat. More Bomberman Tips:

Besure to bomb him as quickly as possible though, because if you don't he'llsummon some ghosts who will fly and transport around, making things muchmore difficult for you.

Also, be careful of the crystals he'll occasionallyshoot out. After a while of boming, he'll give up, and just fly away.

Boss: Here, you'll be facing a giant flower. It'll start, flying in theair covered in leaves. Simply stay on the bottom screen, and wait for theleaves to fall off, and form flowers of their own.

Then, bomb them. Bombthree waves of them, to cause the giant flower to land, and begin walkingaround on the top screen.

You can bomb it until it dies, but you'll have to attack from the back or the sides. Also, make sure to watch out for thethe petals it tosses. More Bomberman Tips:

It can toss them in groups straight ahead, or sendfour of them hurdling in a circle around the area. Stay behind it wheneverpossible, as the groups that are sent forward won't be able to hit you.

Boss: Start, by bombing the soft block, and hands on the touch screen.When you finish them off, the doors leading to the top screen will open.More Bomberman Tips:

You'll then be facing a giant face made of ice, with three orbs on it;One to the right, one to the left, and one on the bottom.

This face won't move, but the hands moving all around the area will, and they allshoot energy balls;

This boss is a gift from satan himself, but if youstick in there, you should be able to win. Using remote bombs makes ita whole lot easier, though.More Bomberman Tips:

Boss: You'll be facing a giant crab, that will start on the topscreen, spitting bubbles.

At any given moment, it will be able todart forward or backward, so try to stay to the side of it.

It willspit bubbles that will slightly home in on you, so avoid those, as you try and place bombs in lines either in front of it, behind it,or to the side of it. More Bomberman Tips:

He'll be able to disarm one at a time withhis claws, but he can't very well do that against 4 or 5 at a time!After a while of being bombed, the crab's shell will split, revealing a small blue creature.

This version no longer has thebomb-disarming abilities, or the darting abilities, and it's bubbleblasts have also been dulled down; They go in nine directions, butwon't home in on you. Keep bombing him to finish the job.More Bomberman Tips:

Boss: You'll be facing a female Vampire in this stage. She'll start onthe top screen, flying around, summoning ghosts, and spitting out batsthat will fly towards you.

You, on the other hand, will start on thebottom screen, where there will be four runes on the ground. Step onone to be brought to the top screen.

Then, try to bomb the vampire --Before she summons ghosts if you can, because they will become a hugeburden if you don't. More Bomberman Tips:

Once you hit her, she'll fly to the second screen,and create four more runes. Step on one to pursue her. Then, keep bombingher until she gives up and flies away.

Boss: You'll be facing a giant robot that starts on the top screen. Somerunes will appear on the ground, so that you can reach him.

Do so, andthen bomb him; Watch out for the missiles he can shoot upwards, and hisfists, which he'll fire like rockets at you. More Bomberman Tips:

Every time you hit him, hewill move to the other screen, and create some runes for you to step on.After a while, his legs will fall off, and he'll begin floating.

In thisform, be even more wary of his hands, as they will shoot lasers at you.Don't stand next to them in the direction they are pointing.

In this form,he'll also be able to shoot a huge laser out of the bottom of his body;So when he begins glowing, step to the left or the right. After More Bomberman Tips:

continuous bombings, he'll go down.
