They are usually following and helping out pick off the enemies. 4.4 - Demolitions Demolitians carry explosives and are neccsessary in the mission which expect you to destroy enemie stuff. 5) MOVEMENT ROEs More Ghost Recon Tips:More Ghost Recon Tips: 5.1 - Hold When you command your team(s) to hold, they will not move. They will stay at area you told them to hold until told otherwise. 5.2 - Advance A team on advance will continue to the location they are directed to go until they meet up with enemies, they will hold until you tell them otherwise. 5.3 - Advance At All Costs A team will continue to where they are told to at all costs. When they are met up with enemies they won't stop to kill them, they will kill them while moving. More Ghost Recon Tips: 6) COMBAT ROEs 6.1 - Recon On Recon, soldiers won't fire at enemies unless the enemie spots the and shoots at them. Soldiers will try to use silencers if they have them equipped. 6.2 - Assault On Assault, soldiers will shoot enemies if they spot them and will stop shooting assoon as it doesnt find a threat. More Ghost Recon Tips: 6.3 - Surpress Soldiers will fire at any place it seems to have enemies and will continue firing for a few seconds after enemies enemy's disappear just in case, 7) COMMAND MAP To get the command map, press the L trigger. Pressing the directional pad will movethe cursor. Waypoint are points you want your team(s) to go, you cans set a waypointby pressing the A button. You can tell a certain soldier to look a certain way when you get to the waypoint by holding the A button while stting the waypoint and using the directional pad to move the facing arc around. Neutralize Tent Camp Troops 2. Secure the Caves 3. Return to Insertion Zone More Ghost Recon Tips: 4. Capture Papashvili You will be inserted at the south east portion of the map. Go to your command map (Left Trigger) and move the cursor to the Tent Camp in the North East section of the map and press A, now there should be a route. Now follow the route. First you head north for about 20 seconds and then you walk west and there should be enemies in the trees ahead. After you kill them keep following the route (If the other squad doesnt move go to your command map and switch them from hold to advance)and there should be more enemies. Kill them and follow the route north. When you get up the hill, there should be more enemies north, they will be on top of a cliff. Now keep following the route east and there should be a couple more enemies ahead, knock them out and continue. Now youll notice that the camp is straight ahead, continue to it and there should be about 5 enemies in the camp, kill them and you completed objective #1. Open your command map again, in the north west area there are the caves, press A on it and the waypoint will show up, follow the route north west and up the cliff/hill. Keep walking along the wall and there should be 3 enemies ahead, kill them and keep going. Now you should reach the cave, enter it and there should be one or two enemies there, kill them. Now you have secured the caves. There should be a pathway to walk on the right and when you walk through it there should be a man there. DONT SHOOT HIM! Get near him and that's Papashvili so you have finished the objective "Capture Papshvili". Walk out of the cave and there should be a couple of more enemies there. Kill them. Now if you have killed every enemy,you should automatically finish the mission, if you haven't return to the Insertion Zone by opening you command map and look at the south east area, press A on "Insertion Zone". Follow the route back, and pick off any enemies in your way. Be careful because Papashvili stops sometimes so always have your eye on him. If he does stop just go back to him and he should follow you again, once you reach the Insertion Zone, the mission is done, Congratulations your first missions done! More Ghost Recon Tips: 8.2 - Eagle Smoke Objectives :- 1. Rescue Pilot 2. Resue W. Officer 3. Get to the Extraction Zone 4. Destroy Avionics More Ghost Recon Tips: In this mission you will start at night in an open field, head north and you will see a hill.There are enemies on top of the hill, kill them and continue. Go up the hill and keep goingstraight. Cross the small stream and there will be more enemies in the trees ahead. Eliminateeach of them and continue. Duck down and head straight, now you should see a house north east.There will be enemies all around the house, take out the guy in the window first because he isvery annoying. There is also 2 enemies in the garage house on the right of the house. They will be hard to spot but if you get close enough (crouching) , you should be able to eliminatethem with ease. Now that all the enemies around the house are gone, move into the house andup the stairs. In the first room on the right is the sniper in the window so if you didnt kill him, do it now. Now in the next room ahead theres a man crouching there, dont shoot him,slowly creep up to the door and there should be a man on the left, eliminate him and get thecrouching man. Now head your way back out the house and head west to the barn. Whileyour heading there, there will be enemies half way through the house and the barn. They will be easy to eliminate because they have nothing to cover them. Keep heading untilyour at the doors of the barn. Head in with your team and eliminate the enemies, they willbe behind the hostage crouching and one will be on the second floor of the barn. Eliminatethem and take the hostage. Now head east past the house and you will reach more farm land. More enemies will surround the area so pick them off. In the center will be a crashed plane. With your explosive blow up the plane but remember to be a safe place away from the plane. Now there should be a cinematic of the plane blowing up. If you killed every single enemythe mission would finish now but if you didnt head to the extraction zone with your hostages. More Ghost Recon Tips: 8.3 - Stone Bell Objectives :- 1. Destroy Northeast Patrol 2. Destroy Southwest Patrol 3. Prevent HQ Breach 4. No NATO casualties More Ghost Recon Tips: This is the easiest level IMO if you are patient. You will start off on a road, head north until you reach the bridge. You will see enemies far away , snipe as much of them as you can. A tank will be heading your way so switch to the soldier with the M136. Shoot the tank with theM136 and it should explode. If you don't get a clear shot, you won't be able to shoot so be patient until the crosshair turns green. Now kill the rest of the enemies on the east and west. Once you did that head north to where the enemies were. Head left and you will see a hill, walk up it and head to your left again. There will be 2 more enemies there. Eliminate them and the mission is over. More Ghost Recon Tips: 8.4 - Black Needle Objectives :- 1. Secure the Crossroads 2. Contact UN troops 3. Return to Extraction Zone 4. Keep UN soldiers alive More Ghost Recon Tips: You will start of at the south end of your map. Walk north east until you see a bridge andkill the enemy in the booth at the front of the bridge. Bring both your squads to the bridge and snipe all the enemies. When its clear cross the bridge and kill any enemies around. This should accomplish the first objective. Cross through the small town and keep walking through the hills and forest killing all the enemies around you. You should reach a broken up town. More Ghost Recon Tips: The building on the left of you has the UN troops, so go there and get them. Now you shouldhave objective 2 done. Take you UN troops and head back to the Insertion point because thats where the extraction point is too. Be careful for oncoming enemies and keep the UN troops alive. Do whatever it takes, including sacrificing one of your soldiers. Once you take them back the mission is over! 8.5 - Gold Mountain Objectives :- More Ghost Recon Tips: 1. Secure the bank 2. Investigate the Crash Site 3. Go to the Extraction Zone 4. Avoid Civilian Casualties More Ghost Recon Tips: You will be inserted in a city, follow the wall of the building straight and then left. Followthat wall to the end, peek over and shoot 3 enemies. Be careful here because a civilian will run across the street so be sure not to kill him. Open your command map and get a waypoint tothe bank. Follow the route until your right infront of the bank. There will be an enemy in thewindow so snipe him out. Enter the bank and there will be about 5 enemies in the lobby. Killthem and go straight until you see stairs. Walk up and kill the enemies on the upper level.Check the whole top floor for enemies and then walk down. The first room ahead of the stairs has an enemy. Kill him and the 1st objective is done. Walk out of the bank and open yourcommand map. Create a waypoint to the crash site on the north part of your map. Followthe waypoint, there will be another civilian in the streets so watch out and kill any enemies. There will be a crashed Helicopter at the crash site. Walk around it and you will complete objective 2. Now head to the extraction zone which is very near to the crash site and yourmission is complete.
8.6 - Witch Fire More Ghost Recon Tips: Objectives :- 1. Gather Intel from SW house 2. Gather Intel from NE house 3. Get to the Extraction Zone 4. Destroy SAM site More Ghost Recon Tips: This is another mission in the dark so turn on your nightvision goggles. You will be inserted closest to the South West house so open your command map and set a waypoint to the South West house which is (obviously) in the south west portion of you map. Therewill be lots of enemies in the forests that you walkthrough so keep your eyes open. Just before you go to the house, stay in the forest and snipe enemies around the house. When the enemies around the house are dead, invade the house and there will be 2 enemies in the house, kill them and objective 1 will be complete. Now your at the SouthWest portion of the map and you need to get to the North East so get a waypoint from your command map and start heading towards it killing any enemies that come into your way. Again just like before when you are near the house wait in the forest and kill any enemies around the house. Do the same thing as the other house and invade it killing all the enemies inside the house. Once you have killedall of them objective 2 will be complete. Head out of the house and open up your command map, you'll notice that near the house is the SAM site so create a waypoint and head towards it. The SAM site is in the middle of the forest so head in there, enemies will be all around you so kill as many as you can and make it to the site as fast as you can. Once you reach the site switch to the soldier with the M136 and shoot the SAM (it looks like a tank). Now your mission is over. More Ghost Recon Tips: 8.7 - Paper Angel Objectives :- 1. Destroy the East Pylon 2. Destroy the West Pylon 3. Get to the Extraction Zone More Ghost Recon Tips: 4. Eliminate the Camp Garrison IN this level you are inserted on a hill. Go to your left and keep heading straight. There will be 5 enemies in ahead of you behind trees and bushes, eliminate them and keep heading straight. You will reach a pathway that leads you down to a river. In the middle of the pathway down there will be two enemies, hiding behind rocks. Eliminate them and head straight. Across the river will be more enemies. Let your team take care of them and keep walking straight by the river. Your team will then spot a tank and they will hold. Switch to the soldier with the detonator bombs. Go to the wall pillar that holds up the bridge and set one there with the R Trigger. Head back to your team and now you will have to set a waypoint to the other end of the river so that you can set a bomb there. You will have to go around the river so it will be a long walk. Once your at the top of the river, Camp Garrison is there so eliminate all the enemies there. Now you are at the other side of the river and walk to the bridge again. Set another detonator bomb at the wall piller of that side. Collect your team and head towards the Extraction Zone. When you walk up the hill there will be more enemies fight them off and continue to the Extraction Point. When you get there , your mission is over. More Ghost Recon Tips: 8.8 - Zebra Straw Objectives :- 1. Secure the Village 2. Destroy East Artillery 3. Destroy North Artillery 4. Protect Friendly Tank More Ghost Recon Tips: You will be inserted in the southwest portion of the map. I recommend that you swicth to Advance at all Costs and Recon for this mission. Open up your command map and make a waypoint to the center of the map where the village is. Look north from where you are and there will be four enemies, kill them and continue. There will be more enemies kill them and quicklycontinue. Now head east and through the ledge. You will se a big firy explosion. Keep headingtowards the center of the map and kill every single person around you. When you do that mission 1 is done. Now switch to the soldier with the M136 and head east. You will reach a hill, climb up it and when you see a tank. Stop and destroy the tank. Make a waypoint to the North Artillery and head through the route. When you get there another small hill will be there. Walk up the hill and destroy the tank but this time there will be an enemy too so kill him. Now your tank should cross the village and make sure it doesnt get destroyed. Your 8th mission is over. 8.9 - Blue Storm More Ghost Recon Tips: Objectives :- 1. Clear Northern Island 2. Clear Eastern Island 3. Clear Western Island 4. Capture Russian Officer More Ghost Recon Tips: There are alot of swamps in this mission so be sure not to get separated from your teamor you could easily get lost. You will start off at the southeast part of the map. Youshould head towards the East Island first because its closest. While your heading there youwill encounter a couple of enemies but nothing that should shake you up. When youron the Islandhead towards the center and eliminate everyone in that camp. Next eliminate all the other enemies around the island. You just completed Objective 1. Now head to the Northern Island and again pick off any enemies in your way. Do the same thing you did at the east island at thenorth island because all three are replicas. When you finish there head south this time tocapture the russian officer. Keep heading south and when you are close to the house eliminateany enemies around the house. Head into the house and on the bottom floor you will find 2enemies, kill them and head up the stairs. In the room on the right you can capture the Russian officer. With the Russian officer head west to the last island. Kill everyone there just like you did before. It will be a little harder with the officer but as long as you keepan eye on him it'll be ok. Now you have finished Blue Storm. More Ghost Recon Tips: 8.10 - Fever Claw Objectives :- 1. Secure University Square 2. Secure Presidential Palace More Ghost Recon Tips: 3. Secure Cathedral Square 4. No friendly tank casualties Before the missions starts, I recommend that you switch some of the soldiers so that you have 3 or 4 soldier with M136's. You will start at the south of the map and you should be one of the soldiers with the M136. Head up to the tanks and hitch a ride on them by walking infront of them. Don't worry they wont crush you. Now you can kill all the enemies infront of the tank and your team will kill all the enemies at the sides and behind the tank. Your tank will lead you straigh. Behind the bricks are two enemies, shoot them down and turn right. Kill the enemies behind the trees and let the tank destroy the enemy's tank. The tank will lead you straight and eliminate all of the enemies there. The tank will lead you to thePresidential Palace. You will find two tanks there one on the left and the other on the right.You team will kill the human enemies so don't worry about them. Switch to your M136 and shootboth tanks. Objective 1 is now done. Continue staying on the tank and the tank will lead you tothe University Square and again your team will take care of the human while you shoot the tank.Now you have completed objective 2. Now the tank will lead you to the Cathedral Square and you will have to help your team kill the humans and you will have to shoot 3 tanks. Once you finished this you missions over. Congratulations you just beat one of the hardest levels in the game.
8.11 - Dream Knife More Ghost Recon Tips: Objectives :- 1. Secure an entrance 2. Rescue NATO PoWs 3. Go to the Extraction Zone 4. Rescue Moroshkin Again I recommend you set your team to Recon. From the insertion point you should head southfollowing the fence until you see two guards standing in front of the entrance. Shoot them out. This completes objective 1. Kill any enemies heading your way. Kill the guard in the roomin front of the entrance. Head through the entrance and kill the guard to your left and theother guards around you. Now go toward the second door which leads to the POWs. Take outthe guard infront of the line of POWs. Since this is a stealth level alarms are your enemy so when you open the door to rescue the POWs the alarm will sound. Head east of the POWs inbetween the buildings and through the infirmary. In there will be a guard, eliminate himand get Moroshkin. An alarm will sound for the guards to kill the POWs, move your men throughthe infirmary and through the door, kill the guard and rescue the POWs. Now head everyone back to the extraction point. Once you do that, the mission is over. More Ghost Recon Tips: 8.12 - Ivory Horn Objectives- 1. Plant Demo in Sub Pen 51 2. Plant Demo in Sub Pen 52 3. Get to the Extraction Zone More Ghost Recon Tips: 4. Plant Demo in Fuel Depot Just as you get inserted head south and kill all the enemies, keep going south untilyou spot enemies east of you. Near them is a tower, head up there and kill enemies fromup there. Once all the enemies have died, and make sure all are dead, head down the towerto the west and down the ramp. Now plant the demos in Sub pen 51. Create a waypoint fromyour Command map. Now head south with your team until you reach a building with a car. Snipe down any enemies around that area. Continue following the waypoint until you reachthe Fuel Depot. Plant a demo there and make a waypoint again to Sub Pen 52. Head north following the waypoint killing every single enemy you see. Once you get to the Sub Pen52 plant the demo and get to the Extraction Point. If you make it there alive the missionis over! 12 down, 3 to go! Your almost there! 8.13 - Arctic Sun More Ghost Recon Tips: Objectives :- 1. Secure Control Tower 2. Destroy S37 Berkut 3. Destroy KA-50 Hokum 4. Get to the Extraction Zone When you start the mission head South East to the Control Tower. Open the door and killthe guard behind the door. Kill any other enemies you see around you and enter the tower. Kill the rest of the guards in the lobby and go up the stairs. At the top floor thereare three enemies, kill them anyway you can. Now you have secured the Control Tower. Head out of there and go north to the KA-50 Hokum which is nearest to you. When you are near theKA-50 go North East. There is a door there and kill any enemies around you. Go up the stairs to the balcony and snipe enemies from there. Now head to the Main Hangar. Plant a demo thereand leave to the s37 Berkut. It is in the west so go there and kill enemies near you. Whenyou enter the Hangar there are enemies there so kill them and plant the demos. Your missionis now over. 8.14 - Willow Blow More Ghost Recon Tips: Objectives :- 1. Take the North Pass 2. Take the South Pass 3. Take the Top of the Hill 4. Neutralize the Russian Camp More Ghost Recon Tips: Another easy mission. In this mission you do nothing but kill. Head north to the north passand kill all the enemies there. After that head to the Top of the hill and kill everyone you see (besides your teammates :P). Now head to the Soth Pass and kill everyone there. Finally head to the Russian Camp and hunt every single enemy down. Congrads! You finished another mission! This one was very easy though! 8.15 - White Razor Objectives :- More Ghost Recon Tips: 1. Relieve pinned down troops 2. Take Nikolskaya Tower 3. Take Spasskaya Tower More Ghost Recon Tips: 4. Avoid Civilian Casualties Finally! The last mission. You are inserted at the North West portion of the map. HeadSouth until you reach the pinned down troops. Kill the 3 enemies that are near them. Thiswill finish the first objective. There are two building east of the troops and west, go there behind the buildings and kill every enemy you see. Switch to your soldier with the M136 and shoot the tanks that are with the human enemies. This is another easy mission. I am very surprised that the last 2 missions are easy but they are so congratulations! You can now proudly say you beat Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon. Helium Mode Cheat : Complete M13 Airbase in Firefight on Elite with a full team, and notlosing a soldier. 10) TIPS -> Be patient, don't go after the kills, let the kills come to you. -> Have one weapons as a gun or rifle and the other as a explosive. -> Travel with your team, don't go off by yourself especially online. -> When its raining use the nightvision, some people say that during rain nightvisiondoesn't help but beleive me...it helps alot! 11) QUICK MISSIONS 11.1 - Mission You can do mission from campaign here, unlocking stuff for each level you do. I would recommend that you use this for levels 16+. 11.2 - Firefight In firefight, there are enemies spread out all over the map and it is your job along with your teammates to kill every single enemie. You can also try to killeveryone by yourself without any help from teammates to prove that you truly areon of the masters of this game. 11.3 - Recon Recon is like Firefight except this time , you guys are chickens and are running away.There are enemies all over the map and you have to get your team from one end of the map to the other end where the extraction zone is. 11.4 - Defend Here you will have to defend your base (your starting point). Incoming waves of enemieswill try to enter your base and if one of them succeeds, its game over for you. 12) TEAM GAMES 12.1 - Last Man Standing The last team with people alive wins, if time runs out and both teams have people alive,the team with the most kills wins. 12.2 - Search and Rescue There are 3 hostages in the middle of the map, the first team to rescue all three hostages wins. If time runs out and there are hostages still left, the team with the most hostages wins. The hostages also appear on your command map. 12.3 - Hamburger Hill In the center of the map there is a zone where your team must take over. Every second thatat least one of your teammates is in the zone, your team gets a point. At the end of the gamethe team with the most points wins. 12.4 - Domination There are five zones spread around the map, if someone from your team gets into a zoneby themselves, the zone will turn into your teams color and will remain like that untilthe opposing team gets that zone. For every second your team dominstes a zone, yourteam gets a point. 12.5 - Siege The smallest team starts in a base that they have to defend. If the attacking team getsone member into the base for five seconds, they win. If time runs out or all the attackingteams members get eliminated, the defending team wins. 13) COOPERATIVE GAMES 13.1 - Mission Allows you and up to 5 teammates take on missions like in campaign mode. 13.2 - Firefight You and 5 friends take on enemies scattered across a map. The number of enemiesdepends on the difficulty. 13.3 - Recon You and 5 friends must go from one end of a map to the other end where the extractionpoint is. All teammates must survive. 14) SOLO GAMES 14.1 - Last Man Standing The last person alive wins. If time runs out, the surviving person with the most killswins. 14.2 - Sharpshooter The person with the most kills (alive or dead) at the end of the mission wins. 14.3 - Hamburger Hill This is just like the team game except its every man for themselves. 14.4 - Cat and Mouse Every soldier starts as "cats". The first person to kill becomes "mouse" and his/herkits gets reduced to a pistol. If the mouse gets a kill, he/she get a point. When a cat kills the mouse, he/she becomes the mouse. If you kill anyone while you are cat(including killing the mouse to become the mouse) won't get you points. The personwith the mostpoints at the end of the mission wins. ** To unlock "Cat and Mouse", go to the unlockables section ** 15) XBOX LIVE 15.1 - How much lag is there on Xbox Live? There is barely any if you choose a game between 2-12 people. Anything above isprobably going to lag unless the host has a T1 connection. 15.2 - Can you unlock stuff online in co-op? No, you can only unlock stuff in campaign. More Ghost Recon Tips: 15.3 - Is there downloadable content in this game? There is an auto-update out right now that fixes the optimatch glitch where it ishard to find games online. Just sign into Ghost Recon and download it. 15.4 - No one can hear me online, what should I do? More Ghost Recon Tips: To talk you have to hold the white button while speaking. 15.5 - Can I have a guest with me on Xbox Live? No, one person per 'box 15.6 - Why can't I find alot of people online? More Ghost Recon Tips: Its a glitch, I would recommend that you go on the boards and add alot of peoplethat play Ghost Recon online, then you will always have someone to join. Or youcould keep trying and eventually you'll find a game. 15.7 - How do I setup Xbox Live? You must turn off everything that you are connecting before your start!!! More Ghost Recon Tips: Direct Connection: Take an ethernet cable (RJ-45) and plug it from your Xbox to your modem.This is the easiest connection so once your done that, all you have to do is pick up anXbox Live Starter Kit. If you want to share your connection with your PC and Xbox look at therouter connection. More Ghost Recon Tips: Router Connection: Take one ethernet cable (RJ-45) and connect it from your modem to yourrouter. Take another ethernet cable and connect it from your PC NIC card to the router. Withanother ethernet cable, plug it from your Xbox to the router. Now check your PC if it is connected to the internet. If it is not you will need to configure the router usingyour PC. Now all you need to do is get your Xbox Live Starter Kit, pop it in and followthe instructions.
