The 10 years of marketing life span made playstation 2 become the best selling console in the whole playstation series. Your playstation 2 console can be use as a CD / DVD device, which you can use CD to listen music and use DVD to watch movie. In fact, if you never own a set of playstation 1 console before, do not buy it :) You can just buy the playstation 1 games and insert it into your playstation 2 console. Yes! Playstation 2 console able to play playstation 1 games as well :) There are some famous playstation 1 games out there that you shall try; like Resident Evil 2 and 3, metal gear solid, Dino crisis 1 and 2, and Parasite Eve 1 and 2.. I ll say that now is the right time to buy your playstation 2 if you never own one. Why? Since the launched of playstation 3 in March 2005; the playstation 2 console selling price had dropped at least 30%..
